Once upon a time, I worked as a civil engineer. What does that have to do with photographing high school seniors? Nothing, really. But the same personality trait that makes a great engineer – obsessive attention to detail – is what sets me apart when creating portraits.

I’m pretty much the most laid-back uptight person you’ll meet. Imagine absolute patience with a touch of chaos. I hyper-focus on finding perfect locations, obsess over every detail while I shoot, and deliver a gallery filled with images that I’d be proud to hang on my own walls. I don’t actually hang them on my walls, because, well, that’d be creepy! But that’s definitely my threshold.

On the flip side, my email responses may take a bit longer because I tend to waver while in decision-making mode. My texts and emails will undoubtedly have typos. For some reason I can’t stop telling myself that I’m able to text/email, manage what’s happening around my home office, and watch Bravo simultaneously without missing a beat. But hey, it’s all part of the fun, right?!

My portrait style is timeless and refined. I thrive on getting to know each senior personally, ensuring you feel at ease and have fun. I’m excited to get to know you and create a senior portrait experience that stands apart from your friends!!
