Senior Portrait Photographer New Albany Ohio | Kaylynn

A beautiful young lady, gourgeous colors, plenty of excitement, and a ton of laughter made for a wonderful fall senior portrait session!! The afternoon portrait session not only included Kaylynn but also her twin brother and most importantly we ended her session with a family portrait. I don’t think I have mentioned here before how important I believe it is to offer a family portrait in addition to my high school senior portraits. Senior year and high school graduation are monumental thus the perfect time to capture you together with your entire family. Times will be changing soon (too soon, right) ! Senior Photographer Columbus School for Girls | Grace

When I first met with Grace for her pre-session consultation, not only did we discuss her personal style as it related to her senior portraits,  we also chatted about how she had just starred as Juliet in the Actor’s Theater of Columbus‘ presentation of Romeo and Juliet. At that point she did not intend to pursue an education involving theater. By the time we wrapped up her ordering session, she was working on yet another performance in Little Women at Columbus School for Girls. By that time, Grace had developed an impressive list of college choices based on pursuit of her passion in the theater. She is pursing a dream, what an incredible inspiration!

A little more about Grace:

Starbucks order:  Grande skinny peppermint mocha

Do you have a hidden talent:  I am a weirdly good whistler

One Day I will: Go scuba diving

Greatest high school accomplishment:  Winning two academic awards at the end of my junior year

A high school highlight was: Getting to play Juliet in The Actors’ Theatre’s production of “Romeo and Juliet.”

If I had $500 I would buy: Lots and lots of Madewell sweaters

Someone I would love to meet is: Jennifer Lawrence (Did you see her ah-mazing Oscar look last night?!!)

I loved working with Fran because:  Fran was so nice and easy to work with, I felt totally comfortable during my session and loved the end result.

Senior Portrait Photographer Dublin Ohio | Jackson

Oh, how I loved working with Jackson!!  He’s laugh out loud funny (see below), smart (umm, Stanford is one of his college choices), and most importantly a gentleman.  If only I had a teenage daughter… 🙂

What is your favorite thing in your closet: My heated blanket

One Day I will:  visit every continent

In 5 years I see myself:  Going to grad school to further my Biomedical Engineering degree.  (yep, he’s  smart)

Greatest high school accomplishment:  Continually challenging myself in my academics (nah, he’s SUPER smart)

Three things I will miss about high school:  My best friends, lacrosse, and not paying for groceries. <—- See, I told you he was a genius!

A high school highlight was: Being an All Midwest Honorable Mention for lacrosse

If I had $500 I would buy: 500 packs of Skittles

Bethany | Senior Portrait Photographer Gahanna Ohio

Have you ever met a teenager whom is wise beyond their years, more mature than the average, and such a methodical thinker that you’re in amazement? Bethany is one of those girls! She is as intelligent as she is beautiful!  She was so natural in front of the camera and SUCH a pleasure to work with!

You will notice her sparkly green dress. As pretty as the dress may be, there is more behind it than just a fashion statement. You see, that dress is worn only by the girls that have the honor of being chosen to perform in Chorale, a special choir show group. For Bethany, wearing that dress meant that one of her high school dreams had been realized, and I could not have been more thrilled to help capture such a momentous accomplishment.

Bethany is headed to the Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. As amazing as that accomplishment is, I know it is merely the beginning of her incredible furture!

A little more about Bethany:

High school highlight:  …the rush of performing for the elementary school students our Chorale Holiday show. I’ve waited 10 years to do that, and it was a blend of excitement, panic, and euphoria. Also, becoming Editor-In-Chief of the Gahanna newspaper staff, and traveling to Washington DC on two consecutive Honor Flight Columbus trips.

My guilty pleasure is: One Direction, the Olympics  (Bethany, you surprised me with One Direction 🙂 )

One Day I will: …let travel experiences change my perspective on life.

In 5 years I see myself:  In 5 years, I see myself as a passionate journalist, roving the world for untold stories, promoting environmental sustainability, and honing my skills in writing, photography, and videography.

Greatest high school accomplishment:  Making the 2013-2014 Chorale show-choir
