Senior Portrait Photographer New Albany Ohio | Tanner

Let’s be honest, the guys agree to senior pictures for the sake of their mom. Tanner was such a great guy, he took the style and locations changes like a champ. He even tolerated some rather frigid temps all as a gift to his very sweet mom. Whether he knows it or not, he gave his mom a tremendous gift that afternoon and for that even I am grateful! We had fun playing up his years on the New Albany football field and we captured his playful relationship with his twin sister Kaylynn and a family portrait.  When all was said and done, I believe those images are the ones he was personally most grateful for having.  I’ll count that as a win!

Senior Pictures Gahanna Ohio | Emma

There are high school seniors that are talented and then there are high school seniors that are TALENTED!!! Emma would fall into the second category. 🙂 After seeing her in Gahanna Lincoln High School’s AMAZING rendition of Hairspray  it was understandable that she wanted to be sure to incorporate her passion for music and performance into her portrait session. She can sing, dance and act and do it all with a gigantic smile on her face. I feel honored to have gotten to know this beautiful young lady and I can’t wait to be watching her on a much larger stage while I am saying “I remember when…”!

I loved my time with Emma and I love that she and her parents wanted to include her sister, Grace,  in her portraits.  We made some gorgeous lifelong treasures that afternoon!

Greatest high school accomplishment:  Getting the lead in Hairspray, as it was a dream of mine!

A high school highlight:  I’d have to say my entire senior year was a highlight. I got to be a part of Chorale and PS, which I’ve wanted since basically elementary school, and the people in those groups are my best friends. I also got to play Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, which is my absolute dream role, so that was an indescribable experience.

I loved working with Fran because:  She cared so much more than just about my senior pictures. She was interested about my personal life, how school was going, and wanted to know what interested me, which is I think the reason her pictures are so amazing and personal.

Emma, congratulations on your high school accomplishments! Always remember that they sky’s the limit!!

Senior Portrait Photographer New Albany Ohio | Kaylynn

A beautiful young lady, gourgeous colors, plenty of excitement, and a ton of laughter made for a wonderful fall senior portrait session!! The afternoon portrait session not only included Kaylynn but also her twin brother and most importantly we ended her session with a family portrait. I don’t think I have mentioned here before how important I believe it is to offer a family portrait in addition to my high school senior portraits. Senior year and high school graduation are monumental thus the perfect time to capture you together with your entire family. Times will be changing soon (too soon, right) ! Senior Portrait Photographer Gahanna Ohio | Cassidy

Several weeks prior to Cassidy’s senior portrait session I had the pleasure of working with a few of her friends from Gahanna. I kept hearing how sweet and lovable Cassidy was and how I was going to love working with her, so much so that I couldn’t wait to meet this lovely young lady.  I instantly found that the hype was true. She has a great spirit about her, such an infectious smile, and happens to have the most humorous twitter hashtags ever!

We had the most gorgeous fall day for Cassidy’s senior portraits. She looked stunning and had the perfect variety of looks. The only thing more enjoyable was seeing her fall in love with her portraits at her ordering session. <3

Senior Photographer Columbus School for Girls | Grace

When I first met with Grace for her pre-session consultation, not only did we discuss her personal style as it related to her senior portraits,  we also chatted about how she had just starred as Juliet in the Actor’s Theater of Columbus‘ presentation of Romeo and Juliet. At that point she did not intend to pursue an education involving theater. By the time we wrapped up her ordering session, she was working on yet another performance in Little Women at Columbus School for Girls. By that time, Grace had developed an impressive list of college choices based on pursuit of her passion in the theater. She is pursing a dream, what an incredible inspiration!

A high school highlight was: Getting to play Juliet in The Actors’ Theatre’s production of “Romeo and Juliet.”

Someone I would love to meet is: Jennifer Lawrence (Did you see her ah-mazing Oscar look last night?!!)
